Candidates who have been allotted through centralized counseling by the MCC of DGHS, New Delhi for admission to MBBS Degree course in Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences for the academic year 2026-27, are advised to report and complete the admission process strictly within the date and time specified in the ‘Allotment Letter’ issued by the MCC – DGHS.

Depending on Willingness for Upgradation, candidates will be divided in two categories:

   *** Freeze Candidates – No Upgradation. (Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seats and do not want to upgrade in next round (i.e. Round 1 to Round-2 or Round-2 to Round-3) will fall under this category. Candidates who want to join the allotted seat, will have to visit the allotted institute physically for joining.

*** Float Candidates –Willing to Upgrade Candidates who have been allotted seat but wish to upgrade in next round (i.e. Round 1 to Round2 or Round-2 to Round-3) will fall under this category. They will give willingness for upgradation and will have to upload required documents for online document (www.mcc.nic.in- student login portal) verification by allotted Institute. (There is no need to visit the allotted institute physically)

• “Hepatitis B Vaccination” Certificate 2 Photo Copies.
• Medical Fitness certificate submitted on the date of admission
• If there is a change in name in 10th /12th and the Degree Certificate, the original Gazette notification for the change of name and a copy must be produced

The candidate should also bring the following certificate(s), if applicable:

• SC/ST Certificate (Refer MCC Information Bulletin UG Counselling 2026- Annexure 3) issued by the competent authority in the standard format specified in the prospectus/information bulletin, in English or Hindi, with the sub-caste clearly mentioned. Certificates in a regional language must be accompanied by an attested English translation.
• OBC-NCL (Refer MCC Information Bulletin UG Counselling 2026 - Annexure 4) as per the Central List, issued by the competent authority; the sub-caste must tally with the Central List of OBC. OBC candidates must not belong to the Creamy Layer. BC/MBC certificates will not be considered.
• Disability Certificate (Refer MCC Information Bulletin UG Counselling 2026- Schedule 1) issued in online format by a duly constituted, authorized Medical Board as per NMC norms. No other PWD certificate will be entertained.
• EWS Certificate (Refer MCC Information Bulletin UG Counselling 2026 - Annexure 5) in the prescribed format, if applicable, for candidates under the General Economically Weaker Section (GEN-EWS) category.

NOTE:

• Candidates without original certificates / documents shall not be allowed to take admission.
• Candidates who have deposited their original documents with any other Institute/College/University and come for admission with a certificate stating, “their original certificates are deposited with the Institute/College/University” shall not be allowed to take admission.
• Allotment letter given by MCC of DGHS for admission is subjected to fulfillment of all eligibility criteria prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and medical fitness of the candidates. Those who do not fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria and not found medically fit will not be admitted to the course of study to which the MCC of DGHS allots them.

General Instructions: :

• If a candidate fails to report on the date and time specified by MCC of DGHS in the allotment order along with the original Certificates/Documents and/or fails to pay the tuition fee in full by Demand Draft/Electronic Fund Transfer through RTGS/NEFT with UTR No. on the day of admission, he/she will not be permitted to proceed with the admission process and the seat will be considered as vacant and will be duly notified to the MCC of DGHS for further action as per rules.
• If any candidate withdraws from the course of study in which he/she was admitted, after the expiry of the cut-off date prescribed for admission to that course of study or in mid-term and the seat is rendered vacant, the first year fee paid will be forfeited and the student will also be required to remit the ‘entire course fee’ for the remaining years of the course period.
• Students will be governed by all the University rules including rules for refund of fee, disciplinary rules, hostel rules and UGC/NMC Regulations for Curbing the Menace of Ragging etc.,
• At the time of admission, candidates should sign Undertaking and Affidavit declaring that they shall abide by the rules and regulation of the University including anti-ragging Regulations of the UGC/NMC and observe good conduct and behavior and that they are bound by the University Rules on payment of fees/refund of fees.
• Both the parents of the students (Father and Mother) shall accompany with the students for signing in the declaration form. Persons other than parents will not be allowed inside the admission section.
• If allotted under the category of OBC/SC/ST, the Community Certificate signed by the competent authority should be produced.

Candidate should report during the normal working hours of the Admission office (9.30 AM to 4.30 PM).
